The B.Sc. Natural Resource Management and Education programme prepares graduates to manage land, water, forest and biodiversity resources sustainably, and to teach environmental and natural resource subjects.
Students study ecology, forestry, soil and water conservation, environmental management and climate-smart practice alongside professional education courses. The programme emphasises fieldwork and community engagement, so that graduates understand resource management both scientifically and in its social and economic context.
Graduates are equipped for careers in environmental and natural resource agencies, conservation and development organisations, and for teaching environmental and agricultural science in technical and senior high institutions.
